I?ve had a lot of experience with scream-o lately, rather more than I?d like I should say, but there is one thing a lot of those albums have in common and that is their sole preoccupation is to create as much noise as they possibly can. Geography blurs the distinction by adding a strong dose of melodic emphasis to the driving beats and screaming lyrics. Life in Binary takes punk about as hard and heavy as it can go while still retaining some sense of musicianship. There?s a message to this too, clearly Geography is raging against the machine and rage they do. This will appeal to some people more than others, but this is definitely music to get fists pumping to.
