Kim Jarrett?s been called natural, melodic and enchanting and I definitely think that she is all those things. These aspects surprisingly travel well across the digital soundscape of her debut disc as Jarrett takes us through a folk-pop-blues mix that is hers yet at the same time comes from the musical places that a list of numerous other artists walk. In the album?s fourth track, ?Do I Have the Patience? there?s a twangy guitar element that I really liked as Jarrett went a little more country with her sound. I found as the disc went along Jarrett?s voice got stronger and fuller; the second half of the disc is definitely the better half musically and lyrically; but there was still a lingering feeling that I?d heard it all before. For Jarrett, I think that this is a very strong start and I recommend this album to anyone who likes real music so that they can hear a talent on the verge.
