The album starts with what I?m pretty sure is a didgeridoo and the sound of monkey screeches playing on the soundtrack. Then I take a better look at the cover art and come to the conclusion that what we have here is something so psychedelic, it?s going to blow my mind. As it turns out this instrumental band from England has been getting people grooving since 1984 and The Floor Is Too Far Away is their latest in a long line of releases. By the way, check one in the psychedelic box because it becomes painfully obvious that?s what this is from the first note. The album is polished nicely and should appeal to those who may remember psychedelic?s golden era with fondness, while new fans can delight in a mix that?s sometimes more contemporary dance. Bottom line is these boys know what they are doing and they know how to do it well; any and all squares should freak out now and beat the rush.
