There are very good reasons why there was only one Phish, but it seems that the bands that somehow didn't make it on same highway, yet walked the same path and are still walking. There is something very charming about Wait though. The compositions, although very plain, reflect what these middle aged men must be feeling. Songs such as "Twenty-three and a half" with its goofy chorus, "It really makes me laugh/Twenty-three and a half," actually carries a solid and streaming composition. Atmospheric guitar swirls and harmonies that sound much like the aforementioned band, exchange mild verses. They don't exactly bring you up to speed in today's rapid fire onslaught of media distractions and attractions, but sound nice none the less. It's certainly not for today's youth, but anyone pining for some fun music - don't wait for Wait, go and pick it up.
