The French and the Spanish come together to make beautiful music with this electronic-influenced disc that immediately evokes a sense of what if Bjork met Beck. (Bjeck?) The combination of French chanteuse Pascale Saravelli and Spanish noise-maker Juan Feliu is a potent duo making some great music together. I'm not usually fond of the over-production of musical tracks but Feliu's talent of mixing an eccentric collection of instruments and noises won me over time and again. There's experimentation here as well as a playful tone, but at the centre of it all, always present, is solid musical credentials. This music probably wouldn't work without the haunting voice of Saravelli, so consider this act a match made in heaven.
