Sequence 01, from French musicians The Tara King Theory is a wonderful trip through the sublime and the surreal. It's wonderfully gloomy, a hauntingly beautiful collection of samples, electronic and acoustic instruments. The elements come together nicely to create that's all about creating interesting, melodic sculptures, no one song is like any other. The group mixes it up sometimes by throwing in some instrumental tracks, although I hesitate to call them instrumental since synthesizers were undoubtedly utilized. For any fan of electronically composed music, any album by the Tara King Theory is highly recommended; they're original and compelling compositions make for a wonderful listening experience.
