Odd that a band from Burbank, CA would choose a name like Bleeding Kansas, not that it's a geographical reference. Bleeding Kansas is the name given to a border skirmish between Kansas and Missouri in the immediate aftermath of the Civil War. By my reckoning the only comparison between the band and the history of the band's name, is chaos. Dead Under Decor is a blistering wall of sound, not merely metal and certainly better and more varied than your average metal band. It's the less busy moments that show you if a band is good at making music or good at making noisy, Bleed Kansas proves themselves as the latter.
