The Bismark have crafted a rare delight: a feverishly exuberant punk rock album that one doesn't have to enjoy through hand-covered ears. From the first note of the first song, "Cock of the Fleet", I was rocking out. One of the unique aspects of this four-piece band is that everyone contributes to the vocals , so the sung lyrics are mixed bag of vocal styles, it really makes every song distinctive. Often though the words stop in order to highlight the excellent guitar work of Eric Fundingsland and Chris Jury. My favourite song on the album is "Hellgate High Fight Song", which gives us rolling drum beats, throbbing bass, and a sound not unlike that of vintage Offspring. Great stuff.
