I didn't know bands this hardcore came from Texas, shows what I know. Metal fans will surely find something to recommend in this album, it is a definite sound apart from your average genre outfit. The lyrics are sung in scream-o mode, but it's toned down enough to hearing what is trying to be said. Solid work on guitar and percussion help the proceedings creating the right combination of sound befitting the music. Unfortunately, this album may require a bit of seeking out as the Manchurian Candidates disbanded a couple of years ago. Recommended for fans of death metal, not so recommended if you like the volume on low.
