Thank you There For Tomorrow, for proving that young people today do have a fine grasp of what makes punk/rock work. This quartet out of Florida puts the likes of Montreal "punks" like Simple Plan to shame, forcing them into the light of day as the poseurs that they are. If I was the band's music teacher I'd say that they have a good grasp of the fundamentals. They go further and add a touch of flourish with some metal riffs, but these lads are too smart to go for a volumizing presence. They even have a bit of cheek to them, the first track is entitled "To Whom It May Concern", it's an instrumental bit that ends with the repeated line "Tomorrow I'll bring my thanks to you." I look forward to an encore.
