You'll forgive me if this review is shy on a complete understanding of what exactly this band was trying to get across with their album, but it's been a long time since German class. You can tell from their picture in the liner notes that these guys mean business-with their long hair, dark clothes, and percussionist Don Schizoid looking like Terrance Stamp as General Zod in Superman II (sans beard). To bottom line this album for you, think Ashley MacIssac-times two, but in German. You can't help but admire the fiddle work by Don Humanoid and Don Wokis, even if the singing is reminiscent of that acid flashback that wakes you up in the dead of night. It's easy to tell that there is some musical talent here, and not just screaming lyrics for the sake of screaming lyrics.
