welcome to the fine art of the concept album. Hubi Meisel's concept in this instance is an ode to Buddhist/Hindu religion and mythology. No. Wait. Don't turn to the next review. This is a fascinating album with a unique sound. There is a curiously spiritual element beneath the hard-rock/metal influenced sound. Meisel's voice is light and introspective as he sings over top of hard-driving guitar riffs and loud beating drums. Mixed in with the electric guitar and the keyboards are odd chimes and harps, and what I'm pretty sure is a sitar. I'm not sure if it all works , but I'll be damned if it wasn't really interesting to listen to.
