Considering other releases from Lion Music, I thought I knew what to expect from this album. I am pleased to say that this is not another super-charged power metal album, but a rather melodic progressive/alt-rock disc instead. Although putting Waterclime in that genre category is leaving something a miss as well considering the sounds of an electronic synthesizer that regularly spring up in the mix. The new wave music from the 80s is also a prevalent influence on the album as well, continuing that forms resurgence in modern music. A welcome surprise of an album, that instantly pleases from the word go.
