"Eleven tracks of beautiful modern Hardcore" the front of the album says. Interesting turn-a-phrase, and I was getting into the album for the first twelve seconds before the screaming lyrics started on the first track "My Hell". Ah, but maybe I'm too harsh with my immediate assessment, the guitar solos have just kicked and I find myself grooving to the technical skill of the riffs and the riffees. "My Resolution" made me resolve to turn my stereo down to low volume, more of that Hardcore shrieking. But in this track I can appreciate the percussive talents. I've said it before, I'm not a fan of Hardcore, but I know what I hate-and I don't hate this.
