If there's room on your shelf for another three-piece, puck-rock-alternative hybrid, then by all means pick up Planesides second album Milk. It may not strengthen your bones or give your daily recommended source of vitamin D or whatever, but it's does provide a the listener some 10 tracks with serious rock credentials. It's raw but graceful. Loud enough to bother your Mom, but not loud enough to wake the dead, or ruin your hearing. The band lists their influences as Foo Fighters, The Pixies and Cheap Trick- Check, check and check. A comparison to early Green Day would also be apt I think, but Planeside is a little harder on the rock side. A very impressive, albeit brief collection from some fine, outstanding, emerging rockers.
