Glimr seems to reaching back in time to the 70s looking to recreate the rock-opera glory days fostered by The Who and Pink Floyd. They succeed at creating this vibe despite that fact that this album qualifies more as a short than a feature according to its length. I like the sound on the album, the guitar solos absolutely sing. Not that they have to because the lyrics are beautifully sung, taking there time, wrapped around the excellent instrumentation. It's enough to make you wish for a longer album, hopefully this won't be too long in coming.
