This Just In... is a wonderful package of Indie artists, put together with the sole purpose of giving unknown artists some exposure outside the clutches of the record company. The over theme of the collection is punk, and as a punk album it is excellent - a 29 track album featuring 29 different bands containing many, many highlights. There's Killer Dreamer who gives off an Offspring kind of vibe, Clarendon Hills rocks wonderfully thanks to the ample pipes of its lead singer, the Leeches add a wonderful Goth dimension to what sounds like 60s California pop. The best in my books is This Is Revenge's "New Mutant"; great band name, great song name, and a fantastic little piece of vintage sounding punk. If you're a punk fan then this album is definitely worth seeking out.
