I know what you're thinking... "where do I begin tearing this album to bloody shreds? Will it be Johnny Angel's gay bondage outfit? or the fact that he uses the word 'sex' like a twelve-year-old trying to get attention?" Angel's album of "remixes", presumably from previous Angel albums that I've never heard of, is chalk full of the kind of mid-90s techno/house that used to get myriads of requests on the old "Open House Party" radio show. If you liked the ouvre of The Real McCoy or Ace of Base, then Angel's music will definitely appeal, assuming, of course, you can get past the cover art. Angel's beats are kind of groovy, but many of the songs go on for far too long. Not bad, not great, just average.
