Not being a black metal fan, I found this album a little more interesting than the average black metal effort, but not interesting in that good way. Granted I'm not usually sure what the vocalist is singing on a metal album, but it's a little bit different this time at bat as the singer seemed to be doing something different than his back-up band. The lead sing is there doing his scream-o thing, meanwhile the guitarist and bass player seem to think that they are in some sort of punk/thrash outfit. The production sound on the album wasn't great either. Considering that Seeds of Darkness was supposed to be a Best Of... retrospective, colour me unimpressed.
