“...that all the things you thought you knew, the truths you thought you had figured out...its all just theory...a sobering theory...a life theory...a life theoretic” - Life Theoretic
This indie band from Toronto blends humbling lyrical philosophy with heavy instrumental riffs. This five man show prides themselves on their independence: producing, managing and representing. The lyrics don't stray far from their titles. “Nostalgia”, for example, speaks for itself and is notably the most lyrically and instrumentally compatible. For a more eclectic indie echo I recommend the “The Infinite Addiction”, projecting a darker, more sophisticated Bedouin Soundclash-like vibe. The band's influences range from Tool to Portishead, that truly mediates through their music. When The Truth Comes Out is an overall “reflective” album. A live performance would capture the band's energy and connectability with an audience.
