Tony Hernando and his guitar hail from Spain, a place usually associated with the mandolin over all other string instruments. But not our Senor Hernando or the quickly moving fingers he uses to pluck the rock from his trusty axe. Too mellow to be called metal, too loud and too fast to be called guitar rock, Hernando strums a fine forming grey area where he can clearly blow the speakers with his sound, he just doesn’t want to. Ably backed by drummer extraordinaire Mike Terrana, Hernando is a wizard with form and substance as he absolutely blazes through 13 tracks of guitar thrash without uttering a word.
