Though this album was released in 2007, it was not brought to the attention to this Lucid Writer until I received it for Christmas. These young folk ladies have a unique vocal arrangement and simplistic guitar riffs to go with them, and even some keyboard added in.
After being the stars in their high school music class and now they put on performances in Massey Hall. Amanda and Shiela have come so far in such a short period of time. They have brought their folk pop music all across Canada touring with the loved Jann Arden, Matthew Good and most recently Stuart McLean of the CBC’s Vinyl Café. If you are a fan of any of those mentioned this one is defiantly one that should be added to your collection.
Having received nominations for the Canadian Folk Music Awards, they are excited and ready to take yet another step forward with their music career. I hear they are even working on a new album to be released this year.
