Another heart pumping, mind blowing, head banging hit by Queens of the Stone Age hit the shelf officially on April 29, 2008, and I was lucky enough to order the double CD limited Canadian edition tour, Eh!!! Now this is a rock and roll band all the way. These fellows know exactly how to knock the socks off the head banging fools that hit the dance floor. Regardless of if you are lucky enough to get the double CD or not, this album is worth the cash. Jam packed from start to finish with the usual brilliance of Josh Homme, you won’t be able to get enough of this one, especially if you are a Queens fan. As mentioned on Wikipedia, Homme describes the record as "dark, hard, and electrical, sort of like a construction worker…it's like dirt, clearly seen." Interesting description, which seems to fit well with the layout of songs. From Sick Sick Sick, and 3’s and 7’s which were released as singles in early June, 2007, to Battery Acid, and Make It Wit Chu, the vibe these rock and rollers give out doesn’t get old or weak, it just keeps getting better and better.
The first CD in my set includes bonus tracks inclusive of Christian Brothers, Needles In the Camel’s Eye, a live version of Make It Wit Chu, White Wedding, and a Remix of Era Vulgaris.
The bonus disc is a Live From Amsterdam recording.
