Moby - Last Night

Music

Artist Moby
Label Mute
Genre Electronic
Score 3
The ninth album released by Moby, Last night, has a different vibe than his previous albums. He brings the club sound back into our living rooms, putting his DJ brilliance to work mixing the sounds of dance beats and electronic vibrations with lovely vocalists, which is something that the clubs will soon be mixing into their own clever beats. Released back on April 1st, Last Night features a number of guest vocalists including Erin Marszalek, Wendy Starland, Smokey from 419 Squad and many more. The one song from this album, “Disco Lies,” appears in the new film Cloverfield, and I’m sure some others will be in future films as well. If you are a fan of dance and electronic beats, you will love this album. Personally I found it a bit too much and could not listen to it all the way through, but that’s just me. If you love the boom rush from hard bass beats that club mixes give off, then this one is defiantly one to add to your shelf.
