The Toronto based band re released their debut album at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on May 23. Although indy rock bands first release usually has quite a garage feel to it, these four give it their all, put their time and energy into it and released a hit. Each song on this album is a hit, tells a story, and makes the audience want to rock out. Strung Out tells a story of a drug addict and has definite potential of being used in a movie it’s so bang on with the way it tells a story; Broken Radio tells the story of a break up and how a couple can’t be friends, etc. Every song has a story. The album in its entirety is 100% radio worthy. I defiantly can see these guys making it big very soon. The Clancy crew previously consisted of a different bunch, but always had Steve Bigas and George Panagopoulos, who were involved in putting together this album. Now King Clancy consists now of 2 new members, Adam Leo, and Jody Brumell who make great additions to the band. I can not wait for the new album with all the new members. Every Thursday this brilliant bunch can be seen at the Corktown Tavern in Hamilton Ontario, where you can pick up your own copy and have it signed if you like.
