Released February 25th, Goldfrapp’s heart shines through in this glamorous new album. This fellow bohemian doesn’t hide a thing with her musical tastes and explorations. Alison Goldfrapp’s abilities are endless it seems and this album has given her an avenue to strut her stuff. This truly rewarding, five star album gives off the vibes of true dedication and hard work. Mixing the pretty sounds of her subtle sultriest vocals with the ambient and airy background sounds and the theatrical electronic mixes, Goldfrapp’s has put her foot forward with her abilities it has defiantly paid off.

My favourite on this album would have to be Little Bird with the pretty organs and chello and, of course, Goldfrapp’s beautiful, moving vocals. This pleasant album moves the listener from dark unpleasantness to an uplifting glory that’s untouchable. It comes as CD and also as a Special Edition version. The Special Edition includes a Bonus DVD that has a Documentary and the video for “A & E” as well as a bunch of other fun goodies. I very highly recommend that if you are a fan of any kind of melodic poppy music, trip hop or are simply a fan of uniqueness in music, this one is worth the pick up. If you already are a fan of Goldfrapp, defiantly spend the extra five dollars on the Special Edition, I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.
