| This 21 year old gem certainly knows how to put on a performance. Lights feeds off the audience and gets pumped the more the audience gets into the music. She has the most adorable voice which fits perfectly into her music that she has managed to put together like a puzzle. There is not one song that is not an inspiration, she likes things to be happy, upbeat and fun. Lights does not seem to let anything get her down she Lights up the world and paints everything with bright colours to make her world and everyone in it a little bit brighter and happier. The venue was cooperative and pretty much had a perfect night. The sound was amazing, everything was crisp and clean and aside from one minor setback, Lights didn’t miss a beat like a real musician. The light show was also a spectacular part of the show, taken care of by Hamilton’s own Clint Alves who does lights for different venues here in Hamilton. Alves manages to grasp the mood of this pretty Lady and accentuate her whole image with a beautiful array of colours. Proud to be Canadian was something she mentioned a few times on stage. She is happy to be back in Canada and mentioned that one can certainly tell the difference in people here. She was touring in the US for a few months, but now she’s back home where she loves it the most. Still on tour for a few more days, then back to Toronto for her new Video Release on December 9, Lights seems to be determined to light up the world with her fun and outgoing attitude and her artistic talents. Keep your eye out for her video to be released by Much Music which, as previously mentioned is a sequel to her already released Drive My Soul. Keep up to date with more show dates on her myspace at www.myspace.com/lights. |
