After having announced the first half of its 2009 slate at the beginning of the month, the Toronto After Dark organizers have now released their full schedule. The official announcement will come today, but for the benefit of fans and ticket buyers the schedule was released yesterday afternoon on the Toronto After Dark website.

The eight days of genre cinema will be kicked off with a Gala screening of , making its Canadian Theatrical Premiere. This throwback to 70s blaxplotation cinema stars Michael Jai White (
Spawn, The Dark Knight), who also co-wrote the script, as the titular hero.
Zombies will of course be well represented with several films. After Dark will feature the Canadian Theatrical Premiere of the post-apocalyptic film
The Dark Hour as well as the international premiere of
The Revenant, a zombie comedy in the vein of
Shaun of the Dead (dress up like a zombie and you get in for half price for that last one). The hype machine known as
Dead Snow (AKA: Zombie Nazis) will also be part of the schedule, and also eligible for half price entry for zombies.
Creepy kids fans will want to check out
The Children from the UK while Germany offers the splatter-filled romantic-horror-comedy
Must Love Death,with the Korean gangster film
Rough Cut closing out Thursday night. The previously announced
Grace will conclude the festival at the closing gala on Friday August 21st.
