Brazilian Girls - New York City

Artist Brazilian Girls
Label Verve
Genre Pop
Score 5

Released August 5th this year, the Brazilian Girls third album proves to be yet another fun and grand collection of various sounds and beats that need to be danced too. With one member less but still as amazing as ever, The Brazilian Girls new album, New York City gives the album name a circus feel. Going with the vibe of the ups and downs, ins and outs of the beautiful and mysterious New York City, this new album still has that good old Brazilian Girls originality. Though they are down a member, Jesse Murphy who was the bass player and a backing vocal, they still have everyone else and by the looks of it have choose to keep it close and comfortable and not adopt in a new member. Instead, they have distributed the tasks Murphy had held to the other members Didi Gutman who by the looks of the new album photo has chopped off his long hippy dread locks, and Aaron Johnston. The new compilation is all sorts of fun. Just as the fifth track titled Good time states ‘we just want to have a good time all the time…’ the Brazilian Girls defiantly don’t lack in the individualistic sounds and fun that they give off in each and every song. If you like fun, dance worthy, and catchy tunes, you’ll love this new album.
