Carriers
Chris Pine (now best known as the new James T. Kirk), Piper Perabo, Christopher Meloni, and Lou Taylor Pucci star in a horror that demonizes a subject close to most people’s minds these days – the terrors of a pandemic. The film received decent reviews after its release – Stephen King was disappointed by its small theatre run, calling it “a beautiful think to look at” that should have been seen by more people.
The Cove
Every year in Taiji, Wakayama, thousands of migrating dolphins are herded into a hidden cove and killed by fishermen. Louie Psihoyos, a National Geographic photographer, directs this disheartening documentary about dolphin trainer Ric O’Barry mission to shed light on this annual atrocity. The film wowed the Sundance crowd and is now nominated for a 2010 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.

Lost: The Complete 5th Season
I, among millions of viewers, have been taken in by the complex, ever-twisting mysteries of this addictive television series. Fans can revisit key episodes of this enthralling story, such as the inner workings of the Dharma Initiative, Daniel Faraday’s past, John Locke’s quest to reunite the survivors, and the long-awaiting introduction of Jacob.
Public Enemies

Unfortunately, the rest of the townspeople, including the corrupt mayor, are hoping the casino will end their financial problems and stand hard against the small group of protesters.
World’s Greatest Dad
This black comedy is probably most infamously known as the film that features a full-frontal of Robin Williams. If you think you can stomach the sight of that, you might be amused by this story of a single father’s dream to by a successful writer and to bond with his emotionally-distant teenaged son.
